The Challenge
A state government agency was running 40+ citizen-facing services on ageing on-premise infrastructure. Response times exceeded 8 seconds, downtime was frequent, and the systems couldn't meet accessibility standards.
Our Approach
We architected a cloud-native platform on Azure with microservices, API gateway, and a shared design system. Migration used a strangler fig pattern — services were moved incrementally with zero downtime.
The Outcome
Response times dropped to under 500ms. System uptime went from 97.2% to 99.95%. The platform now serves 2M+ citizens and passed WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
